BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:20 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) continued their operations against the Turkish-backed rebels in the Afrin region this week.

The YPG managed to kill several members of the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces after carrying out two separate ambushes in the Afrin region of northwest Aleppo.

According to the YPG’s official media wing, their forces targeted a base belonging to the Hamza Brigade in the village of Qimara on October 16th.

As a result of this ambush, a total of four Free Syrian Army fighters were killed, while three others were badly wounded during the YPG’s surprise attack.

Of the rebels killed, three were identified as Abdullah al-Mar’i, Mohammad Suleiman, and Abu Yaqoob Hamza.

The second YPG attack targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Free Syrian Army in the Afrin region.

The YPG said their roadside bomb killed at least two fighters from the Al-Sham Regiment, while two others were badly wounded.

Below is a video from one of the ambushes in the Afrin region this week:

Since the turkish led occupation of Afrin region the islamists and their turkish master have had almost daily lossess amounting to several hundreds of occupants killed. The scope and intensity of guarillas is spreading, also into Euphrates Shield occupied lands. MMC has received howitzers and heavy armoured cars. The wait imo is for cheap T62 and T72 out of Ukraine and for manpads. As US has already build a radar shield around Manbij against turkish air fighters. US is preparing Manbij regio against a turkish assault.

SDF will prevail until Assad will deal for a federation.
