The Kurdish People’s Protection Unit have started a campaign to reconstruct the Armenian Istqlal church in the town of Tell Abyad that lies on the Syrian-Turkish border.

The video shows the reconstruction efforts after the heavy damaged sustained to the church by ISIS during the towns occupation.

The church was constructed in 1924 by Armenian survivors that was perpetrated during the the late Ottoman period and early Turkish Republican era by Kemal Ataturks Young Turks organization.
