Al-Masirah News has claimed that Yemeni forces back by the Houthi militia launched a barrage of missile and artillery attacks on Saudi border bases, killing and injuring scores of Saudi soldiers.
The report said that the major offensive was launched against Tabat al-Hamrah, al-Qamamah, Qaem Zabid, al-Shabaka, al-Kers bases and the strategic al-Ghavieh military camp on Sunday in the kingdom’s southern Jizan province. These devastating attacks led to the destruction or damaging of many armored vehicles and military equipment.
The report then went onto claim that a number of high ranking Saudi military officers were exterminated in the offensive along with dozens of soldiers killed or wounded. The surviving soldiers fled to the town of al-Khobe.
As a result of this power assault, the Yemeni forces captures a significant amount of weaponry from the Saudi military.
