BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 P.M.) – The Islamic State’s (IS) self-proclaimed ‘caliphate’ is nearly finished in both Syria and Iraq after nearly three and a half years of war.

Now, the Islamic State finds themselves trapped inside 7,200 square kilometers of territory in the western countryside of the Deir Ezzor Governorate.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Iranian allies will be attacking this large pocket in western Deir Ezzor in the coming days, while the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces attempt to seal the terrorist group’s remaining positions along the Iraqi border.

With the Iraqi Armed Forces clearing the last remnants of the Islamic State in western Iraq, 2018 looks to be the year that the terrorist group no longer has a presence in the Euphrates River Valley.

So it seems that the legitimate Syrian government has given up over 1/3 of its most resource rich and fertile territory to the US/Zionist Western invaders. What a big ket down by Russia which helped the foreign Kurdsh invaders steal such a karge expance of Syrian sovereign land and its natural resources from the mouth of the Syrian people.
