BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reclaimed the strategic town of Mesraba in the East Ghouta region of Damascus on Saturday, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.

After several hours of fighting, the SAA reportedly defeated opposition forces in Mesraba.

Footage shows tanks rolling through the remains of the town, where poorly-constructed buildings have been razed to the ground and smoke rises above the horizon.

Reports say that the SAA are moving closer to splitting the region in two, placing further pressure on the armed groups still in the area.

Local media states that the Syrian Army will now push to secure the area before continuing its operation, advancing into Harasta’s southeastern corridor.

It is quite possible that as the civilians are forced into ever decreasing areas by the US Takfiri thugs, that a final banzai charge by the US proxy terrorist ‘die-hard’s ‘ could involve hundreds of civilians being forced at gunpoint as human shields toward the SAA lines.

The US and UK are now desperate for any flimsy reason to attack the SAA and save their ‘NATO’ personnel in Ghouta.

The US,UK EU governments and those of us who take an interest in such things have been aware for several years now about the Russian development of their nuclear deterrent for several years.

In my opinion the public disclosure last week by President Putin is to educate the Western public that there will be NO winners in a nuclear war and that the public really needs to lobby their governments as the US leadership is now in ‘Insanity Mode ‘.

@Floriangeyer Yes. The nuclear option was there. But suicide for all – nobody would start that for another country.

But the kinzhal / dagger rockets change the equation. They can keep the US fleets away with no nuclear risk.

Before that You had to saturate the carrier fleets defences. That way they could come far closer. Especially come to Syria.

@Floriangeyer IMHO nobody will force human shield at gunpoint. That is no green buses but a firing squat for the whole unit that committed the crime. Immediately fire on the hostages will force them down and chaos anyway. Then liquidate all that are armed. You just start when they are close enough. This is not Hollywood Police but war.

Yes the US is desperate for excuse. They cannot stand to loose.

I am sure that the thugs that chop off hands and heads, burn people in cages, buy and sell s*x slaves and so many more crimes are not bothered about being accuses of using human shields and being prosecuted 🙂
