BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) split the East Ghouta into three pockets recently, forcing the remaining Islamist rebels to abandon several areas in this region.

As a result of this advance, the Syrian Army managed to lift the several month long siege on the vehicle management base in the Harasta suburb.

Video footage below shows the moment the commanders of the Tiger Forces and 4th Division met up with one another at the vehicle management base this past weekend:

Since making this advance, the Syrian Army has begun their push into Harasta, which is one of Faylaq Al-Rahman’s last strongholds in the East Ghouta.

Video does not show a modern situation. There are no generals in the lead tank. It is no cavalry unit of the 19 century.

No it is not a civil war. It is a war imposed on Syria from foreign actors.
