BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:55 A.M.) – Late last month, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched the last phase of their east Hama offensive, targeting the Islamic State’s (ISIS) small pocket inside the Salamiyah District.

Within days of launching this assault, the Syrian Arab Army had successfully liberated a large chunk of the ISIS pocket, setting up their final showdown at Mount Bilas.

The Syrian Arab Army’s assault would prove successful, as their forces not only liberated Mount Bilas, but also the last areas occupied by the Islamic State in the eastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

As shown above, scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and several armored vehicles were destroyed during this imperative military operation by the Syrian Arab Army.
