BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:00 A.M. – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) lifted the week long siege imposed by the Islamist rebels on the strategic vehicle management base in the Harasta suburb of east Damascus on Sunday.
Led by their Republican Guard and 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army spent the week recapturing territory that was seized by Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, and Faylaq Al-Rahman inside Harasta.
They were finally able to breakthrough the Islamist lines on Sunday to officially lift the siege on the vehicle management base –

The vehicle management base has been besieged two times in the last two months, making its future safety a top priority for the Syrian Army’s High Command.
