BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:45 A.M.) – Exclusive military video footage (below) has been released by the Al-Ikhhbaria Syria news channel showing the Syrian Army targeting a rebel vehicle grouping in northern Hama province with laser-guided artillery strikes.
According to reports, the artillery strike hit militants at the stronghold town of Morek – very close to where Turkish Army observation units are stationed – as they were mobilizing for an attack against government forces.
Sources go on to say that the laser-guided strikes scored direct hits, destroying at least three rebel technicals within the area of Morek.
The engagement is linked to a powerful rebel assault against Syrian Army positions in northern Hama that took place on Thursday afternoon – an attack that ultimately failed within a matter of hours.
