BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 P.M.) – Despite their relentless bombing campaign against the Islamic State (ISIL) in central Syria, the Russian Air Force has made time to target the terrorist group inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate.

Flying out of east Homs, the Russian Air Force makes a daily appearance in the Deir Ezzor Governorate to constantly harass the Islamic State terrorists and bomb their gathering points.

Recently, the Russian Air Force carried out a massive assault in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, destroying at least 4 ISIL tanks, 16 technical vehicles, and two trucks filled with ammunition.

Video footage of this attack was released by the Russian media over the weekend; it was shared by Hezbollah’s media this afternoon.

These ISIL vehicles were making their way from the Sukhnah battle to Deir Ezzor before they were bombed by the Russian Air Force.
