BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:20 A.M.) – The Iranian military fired missiles at militant targets in eastern Syria early on Monday morning, footage filmed from Kermanshah shows.
According to Iranian sources, several ballistic missiles were fired into the region to the east of the Euphrates river in Syria.
Following their ballistic missile strike, the IRGC attacked the Islamic State with their armed drones.
The IRGC has used their attack drones against the Islamic State on a number of occasions in the past, including the large-scale Syrian Arab Army (SAA) offensive to liberate the key border-city of Albukamal in southeast Deir Ezzor.
This large-scale strike by the IRGC was carried out in retaliation for the Islamic State terrorist attack on the Ahvaz Military Parade on September 22nd.
