BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:45 P.M.) – A video was released this week showing the Iranian navy launching cruise missiles against targets at sea.
According to the Iranian army press service, long-range cruise missiles were launched in exercises aimed at fighting targets on the surface of the water.
The army service added that cruise missiles struck virtual targets at a distance of 280 km.
The weapons were launched from the country’s coast and from sea. The tests were conducted in the northern part of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Oman.
The video, which was accompanied with the report, shows Iranian coastal defense systems and missile boats launching the “Nasr” and “Ghadeer” cruise missiles, which have a maximum range of 300 km.
