DAMASCUS, SYRIA (12:10 A.M.) – Remarkable footage has emerged from southwestern Saudi Arabia after Yemeni insurgents swarmed a military base and prompted the Royal Saudi Land Forces (KSA) to conduct a tactical retreat in Asir Province.
After capturing all mountains overlooking the Al-Majaza military base, Houthi-led fighters simply stayed back and pounded the KSA with pinpoint artillery and mortar shells that were directed from afar, rendering the base completely indefensible.
Footage of the attack shows KSA technicals and foot soldiers moving aimlessly around the military base before retreating from the facility under a barrage of shells:
Houthi fighters had first captured the southern mountains overlooking the site and then later on swarmed neighboring hill tops, thus providing them vital fire control over the facility.
According to media wing for the Sanaa-based government, the Al-Majaza military base was fully annihilated due to the shelling.
