DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:00 P.M.) – Breaking ISIS siege on the eastern city of Deir Ezzor proved to be extremely costly for the terror group which had deployed hundreds of its fully-equipped militants with their equipment to curb the Syrian Army advance.
However, the unparalleled fire power unleashed by the Syrian Armed forces – supported by Russian air power – has turned ISIS army into a burnt-out scrap.
A video released recently on social media clearly shows dozens of charred and destroyed vehicles, tanks and VBIEDs for the Islamic State just outside the government-held 137 Brigade.
According to a military source, the government forces are amassing troops and equipment to retake the rest of ISIS-held districts in the oil-rich province.
