BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:45 A.M.) – Video footage captured from security cameras has recently been released over the internet showing the collision of two US police helicopters amid a flawed landing attempt.

According to the Sputnik new agency, the incident happened in California’s city of Pasadena at some point in 2012; both helicopters belonged to the Pasadena Police Department.

Very little information is available on the event and it is unclear if any people were killed or injured as a result of the incident.

Based on the footage shown below, it appears that both helicopters were completed destroyed in the collision. It can be seen that an officer semi-present inside one of the helicopters is hurled straight into the ground but manages to survive and move away from the crash site.

The footage was reportedly released by the National Transportation Safety Board.
