On Monday morning, media outlets tied to Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham bragged that the rebel coalition had conducted a succesful VBIED (vehicle-born improvised explosive device) operation in the Al-Manshiyah district of Syria’s southern city Daraa.
Luckily for defending units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), one of its RPG soldiers scored a direct hit on the incoming vehicle with the entire event caught on camera:

In recent days, the warring parties have not been able to dislodge each other from the embattled Al-Manshiyah neighborhood in the southwestern part of Daraa.

Meanwhile, ISIS launched a surprise offensive in rural areas west of Daraa and seized 5 villages and towns from rebel forces that had overextended their regional frontlines to pursue their ‘death over humiliation’ offensive that ultimately aims to capture the provincial capital of Daraa from the SAA.
In addition, fighters loyal to the Islamic State also captured multiple armored vehicles and loads of ammunition left behind by the Syrian opposition in the newly infiltrated areas.
