BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:57 P.M.) – Earlier today, Failaq al-Sham fired dozens of missiles on the government-held Aleppo International Airport using a captured Soviet-manufactured BM-21 Grad truck-mounted 122 mm multiple rocket launcher.

The Islamist group did not specify why it carried out the attack; fortunately, no people were injured as missiles rained on the airport, sometimes refered to as Nayrab Airport.
Meanwhile, sporadic skirmishes ignited in western Aleppo near the Al-Zahraa district. Neither side gained any ground during the clashes.
Insurgents suffered a humiliating defeat last December as the Syrian Opposition officially capitulated Syria’s largest city and industrial hub, Aleppo city.
