DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:45 A.M.) – An assault prepared by jihadi groups in northern Hama countryside was foiled even before it was practically launched when the Syrian Air Force pummeled a jihadi convoy just near a Turkish observation post.
Jihadi groups attempted to take advantage of the Turkish observation post near Morek town by driving their armored vehicles and trucks; hoping they might go unharmed to launch their attack on Syrian Army positions in Tall Bizam.
However, their attempt yielded only disappointment. The Syrian warplanes conducted fatal airstrikes, destroying almost half of the massive convoy under the watchful eye of Turkish troops.
Jihadists were forced to retreat less than 30 minutes from moving their forces.
Raw footage posted by a pro-rebel social media account shows a Syrian SU-22 jet fighter striking jihadists convoy just 2 km away from the Turkish observation post.
