BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 P.M.) – Video footage (below) has been released by Hezbollah-linked media showing the Syrian Army and allied groups – backed up by Russian airstrikes – unleashing an all-out assault against Islamic State forces in southern Damascus.

In the footage, Syrian pro-government can be seen using main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, rocket artillery, howitzers, line-charge throwers and airstrikes to demolish ISIS positions in the districts of Yarmouk Camp and Hajjar al-Aswad.

The initial Syrian Army onslaught appears to have been so intense that, according to most reports, the bulk of ISIS fighters in southern Damascus have called-on government negotiators to organize their immediate evacuation from the the area.

Technically speaking, the ground assault phase of the Syrian Army’s offensive only began 24 hours ago following a two-day preliminary bombardment with artillery forces and airstrikes.

The SAA and allies certainly know how to co-ordinate an attack.

The SAA has become a fighting force that shows great skill now. Israel will be ‘ deeply deeply worried’ 🙂

Of course I now imagine the dire regret some western powers have for instigating the conflict in the first place. It failed because it resulted in the exact opposite of what they had hoped for – a weak Syrian state. The current Syria is anything but weak as evidenced by its missile defense capability and such explosive victory on the ground.

Absolutely. There is a heaven & h**l difference between War Games being enacted & played by boys with simulation gun fire, smoke bombs, tanks rolling and creating a war like scenario where the boys know this is just a child’s play and not the actual war and the real actual war fought by men of steel who fight for their country’s honor & freedom and get shot wounded and die.

Wow, I’ve never seen ISIS empty out so fast! I don’t think it would matter how many Saudi supplied drugs they take, they would be s**t scared!

Utter devastation. No wonder Saudi sponsored ISIS chickened out when they finally faced the SAA & Russian fire power. ISIS is finished and history now.

Hey Abu Bakr, you must be really disappointed to see your friends raising the white flag instead of the TB flag.

And the fat, tattooed, poorly educated, psycho child killers, insane morons et al employed by Eric Prince would not wish to face the SAA , Hezzbollah, Iranian Guard and all the other SAA allies in a real shooting war where the well armed opposition shoots back.

Mercenaries whose goal is money generally want to go home and spend it and not be the richest smashed up body in a mass grave.
