DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:30 P.M.) – As jihadi militants in Quneitra succumbed to a surrender deal, the Syrian Army is taking control of several towns and villages in the northwestern province.

A video released online features a 6-minute tour inside the recently-recaptured towns of Nabe’ al-Sakhr, Majdolyah and Mashirfah, as well as a drone footage for Rasm al-Halabi.

Al-Nusra-linked militants who for years controlled the aforementioned towns, all located in the central sector of the province, have withdrew to the northern sector in order to assemble for the mass evacuation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Sin duda Al-qaeda sumará mas hombres en el norte, ojalá se desate otra guerra interna ya que este grupo a ido perdiendo hombres dentro de Idlib.
