The Republicans Guard and the Special Mission Forces of the Syrian Army launched a new offensive into Jobar district on greater Damascus after the Syrian Airforce devastated jihadi militant positions.
More than 10 airstrikes struck terrorists of Al-Nusra and Failaq al-Rahman.
The Syrian Army than stormed the malls building area, also known as point 39.
The malls area is strategic as it overlooks most of terrorist-held Jobar areas, mainly the Arabic houses area.
The Syrian Army were able to advance already after killing at least 10 fighters in the area and capturing 3 points.
This was under the heavy cover of Syrian airstrikes.
Inside sources say that if the malls area is captured, Jobar would fall rapidly to the Syrian Army.
