DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:25 P.M.) – Due to the arrival of elements of the Tiger Forces and 5th Legion, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has begun reversing gains achieved by hostile jihadist factions in the northern countryside of Hama over the past week.

Since launching their counter-offensive, these SAA reinforcements have spearheaded the recapture of Kawbab, Shayzar, Tall al-Abadi, Tal Al-Sammam and Ma’arzaf.

Below, brand new footage depicts the SAA’s ongoing counter-insurgency efforts in Hama:

Notably, the SAA has now stopped Islamist rebels from advancing on the gates of Hama city and its strategic airbase. Next up, government forces must explore maneuvers to collapse an exposed rebel salient in northern Hama.

Great news. The SAA coldly waited for enough reinforcements to clearly gain the upper hand – which IMHO saves lives.

I thank AMN for this liberal policy and its unfiltered fresh and factual news.
