DAMASCUS, SYRIA (0:00 A.M.) – After assembling overwhelming firepower and thousands of troops reorganized under the direct command of Suheil Al-Hassan, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has swept like an avalanche through southeastern Aleppo and pulverized Islamic State defensive lines, thus pushing jihadist combattants back towards Raqqa.
With the large town of Maskanah virtually encircled by the SAA’s Tiger Forces, footage has now emerged of the seasoned assaults troops conducting counter-insurgency operations against demoralized ISIS militants in their last stretch of territory in Aleppo province.
The footage shows the SAA deploying its most elite formations, armored vehicles and state-of-the-art armaments against ISIS militants in the Maskanah Plains, inflicting heavy casualties in the process.
