DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:40 P.M.) – Russian Air Force continue to conduct heavy airstrikes against positions and headquarters of the ultraconservative militants in the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib.
Today, the aerial bombardment targeted Mishmishan town (West Idlib countryside of the Jisr al-Shugur region), a stronghold for the Turkistan Islamic Party fighting under the umbrella of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in Syria.
The airstrikes hit a former school building in the town used by the militants as weapon depot. No reports have been obtained about the casualties.
Russian Air Force has steadily increased its deadly airstrikes against the al-Qaeda-linked groups in Idlib after its SU-25 was downed, pilot killed last week.
