BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) – In assistance of ongoing Syrian Arab Army operations in southern Deir Ezzor Governorate, the Russian warplanes are targeting all identifiable ISIS positions and convoy movements throughout the region.

Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defence released video footage of precision strikes against Islamic State tactical positions and vehicles.

With elite Syrian Army forces in the midst of an offensive to capture the Islamic State capital of Al-Mayadeen, Russian jets – aided by extensive drone reconnaissance – are engaging every ISIS strongpoint, troop gathering and vehicle movement between the city and the Syrian-Iraqi border town of Abu Kamal.

The airstrikes shown below are but a fraction of the many dozen sorties being carried out by Russian warplanes against ISIS military assets throughout southern Deir Ezzor on a daily basis.
