A short video has been released by the Houthi media, purporting to show the firing of a surface-to-surface missile towards a military base in Saudi Arabia.

According to sources in Yemen, Yemeni forces fired a variant of a Russian Scud missile yesterday evening. The missile reportedly hit a military base, in Riyadh province. Specifically, the military base was situated around 40 km west of the Saudi capital.

On social media, some Saudis living in Riyadh reported that they heard a loud sound, and some said the noise was a caused by an earthquake or meteor.

  1. Might have been more interesting to strike an airbase with a lot of Typhoons or F-15SA : @+100M$ per plane. If the hangars are hit with a thermobaric, well, a strike @ +$1bln would look like fist-fucking…
    The Al-Watah ballistic missile base, thus, due to size and underground facilities, it’d take a FOAB…
