DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:55 P.M.) – Palestinian forces fighting alongside the Syrian Army in northwest Aleppo targeted, with ATGM, a vehicle for jihadi groups as more reinforcements pour into the area for a prospected battle.
A vehicle equipped with a 14.5 machinegun received a direct hit by an ATGM fired by Al-Quds Brigade in Haritan farms, northwest Aleppo. The attack killed at least two militants from the al-Qaeda-linked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
Tensions has escalated recently in north and northwest Aleppo as jihadi rebel groups continue to violate the ceasefire by repeatedly and indiscriminately shelling the residential areas of Aleppo on almost a daily basis.
The breach has drawn a decisive response from the Russian jets which conducted at least 5 airstrikes against rebel positions in the area. Meanwhile, the Syrian army keeps on sending more reinforcements into the area for a major offensive to reclaim all insurgent-controlled territories in northern Aleppo.
