BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:50 A.M.) – Footage has been released showing countless numbers of main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles belonging the Syrian Arab Army’s elite Tiger Forces rolling through the vast desert plains of northwestern Deir Ezzor Governorate as part of an operation to completely expel ISIS from the region.

Yesterday, the Tiger Forces kicked-off a massive operation to liberate the remaining areas of northwestern Deir Ezzor Governorate still under ISIS occupation and to expand the Syrian Army’s zone of control along the western bank of the Euphrates.

Within about ten hours of launching its offensive, the elite Syrian Army formation liberated five towns along the Euphrates and secured vast areas of territory to the northwest of Deir Ezzor city.
