BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The media branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has released a 3-minute propaganda video of Kurdish militants attacking Turkish troops with a range of light stand-off weapons including anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) and snipers.

The footage seems to revolve around a group of three or four PKK militants operating somewhere in Turkey’s Zap region (close to the northern Iraqi border).

In the video, the aforementioned Kurdish militants are seen hiking their way through the rugged terrain of the region at night, whilst resting up in the bushes during daylight hours.

From the very beginning of the engagement shown in the video, it is clear that the PKK fighters quickly get the jump on their Turkish foes.

Attacking Turkish Army positions on a hill, the PKK militants initially shock the Turkish troops with a barrage of machine gun fire and what appears to possibly be a light mortar.

After forcing Turkish ranks apart, the Kurdish militants then proceed to systematically pick off individual troops with ATGMs and sniper fire at very long range.
