DAMASCUS, SYRIA (10:30 P.M.) – An astonishing incident occured in Raqqa city this weekend as a car bomb mounted with a machine-gun (possible the first of its kind) drove directly into Kurdish ranks, injuring many members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) upon impact.
Shortly before blowing itself up, the SVBIED was filmed by a Kurdish frontline journalist who was fired upon by the suicidal jihadist crew:
Remarkably, the SDF has not advanced a single inch inside the provincial capital of Raqqa since August 2 primarily due to ISIS’ increased use of suicide bombers.
Around 2,000 ISIS militants are estimated to remain bogged down inside Raqqa city, nearly half of which has been liberated by the SDF thus far.
