BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – During the Al-Qaeda-led militant offensive against Syrian Arab Army positions in northern Hama Governorate several days ago, much of the remaining armored reserve available to rebel forces in northwest Syria was tossed into battle in an attempt to break government lines around Ma’an.
As the battle developed, Syrian Army armor, tank-killer teams and Russian precision airstrikes quickly identified and destroyed a significant part of the militant armored strike force and in doing so effectively blunted the offensive potential of the Al-Qaeda-led offensive.
Footage has emerged recently showing Syrian Army tanks and tank-killer teams knocking-out jihadist armor in northern Hama. The entire continuous footage sequence was captured by a forward reconnaissance team using a thermal-vision camera.
In the video, the Syrian army can be seen knocking-out several jihadist armored vehicles whilst they are moving with long-range stand-off fire.
