An Israeli military unit has reportedly sneaked inside a bordering area near Syria’s northern borders, Israeli Channel 2 reported.

The unit, called “Eagle” which is part of the Israeli elite intelligence force, infiltrated for some 500 into the southern Syrian territories on a mission for gathering intelligence info.

The exact location where the infiltration took place hasn’t been released for security considerations.

A video published by Channel 2 showed reporter Dani Kashmaru accompanying the soldiers in a night mission.

According to the reporter, similar operations have been carried out several times in the past, stating that he, along with the Israeli soldiers, ‘could hear and see everything.’

The report disclosed that the elite unit made use of advanced and sophisticated eavesdropping devices to monitor the battles fought between the Syrian Army and hardline groups in the area.

Israel has been providing logistic support and medical assistance to opposition forces – including Jabhet al-Nusra terror organization – fighting President Bashar Assad.

Israeli warplanes have repeatedly targeted Syrian Army positions under the pretext of preventing sophisticated weapons from reaching the Lebanese Hezbollah group.

@ Abdallah, ‘akhi, You did not ask me but: My private guess, the Israeli forces have not spied on the SAA but on the terrorists. Listen they mention Daish – IMHO that is IS. Which IMHO is not too paranoid to do. In this Israel uses the instability in Syria for its own purposes. The US and the Turks also use that for their illegal and constant incursions into Syrian territory. No idea why anyone thinks the Israeli behavior is special and more outrageous than what these two nations do. p.s. The rational explanation is: Nothing! Our French friend doesn’t… Read more »

All three aggressors you mentioned above have done a great deal of damage to Syria. Either directly or indirectly, but in this article talks about israeli infiltration of Syrian lands. And hence putting an appropriate comment for that particular situation. And I would have believed that Israel is not out there to spy on the government had they not been constantly bombing syrian army HQs. But the latter is true, and so it is more plausible that they intend to spy on govt forces. Well let’s face it, they are the real threat to Israel, those other clowns can’t dare… Read more »

The fact is what they talk about and IMHO that seems to be IS. But I can only go by what I hear & I do not understand Israeli language. BTW: Yes I absolutely agree about the damage. Yes I also consider infiltration into the land of Your neighbor abnormal behavior. Yes I know about the regular incursions into Syrian territory and the Israeli attacks. To do that with Your neighbor country is abnormal also. No matter whether You are at odds with You neighbor. Your services must not do such things neither must You allow any terrorists to do… Read more »

First, if I already agree with the point in the article that Israelis provided medical support, one may notice that they also provided medical support even to wounded Hamas terrorists or Hezbollah fighters : remember that their Red Losange is ALSO par of Red Cross, like the Red Crescent is. The Logistic support still has to be pointed by hard evidences and not by the habitual allegations where anti-Semitics racists use all day long, i.e. they walk on a dog turd, they curse the Jews about it… Now, let’s be clear : the attacks pointed in the article were SYTEMATICALLY… Read more »

This is unusually huge pile of jewshit. Worth at least 30 Shekels. > Yes, thus things go much further on the Arab side : Israelis just want peace, Arabs “just” want genocide. Pure jewshit, I remember Nazi Germany, it was the same story, only instead of Judas were Germans and instead Arabs it were Judas. Judas declared Germany a war first, BTW. > “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel” Exactly the same nazi propaganda. > Well, hadn’t Arabs… Read more »

Arrogant military men that show off their newest gear/toys and what that can do for the security of Israel against what the video calls Daish – I assume they mean IS. No idea why they think they can legally infiltrate into Syria.

Have you an idea what $3.9 trillions can pay for? To give you an idea, you have enough to pay for 500 nuclear aircraft carriers like the DeGaulle, 36 Rafale-M (so a total of just 18,000 jet fighters), 2 Hawkeyes and 6 choppers onboard of each. IMHO, you may buy more : DCNS/STX and Dassault might be OK to make you a crazy bargain price with such an order, thus, everybody will s**t in their pants because it’d be about 6x the number of jet fighters US militaries have and 24 what Russia has… And you’ll need about 950k personnel… Read more »
