DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:05 P.M.) – Having become on the verge of a major defeat in west Daraa enclave, the Islamic State is now threatening to slaughter captured women from east Swaida in order to guarantee a safe exit.
The terror group released a video showing one of the captives demanding the Syrian Army to discontinue the military campaign in the Yarmouk Basin and release all ISIS prisoners in exchange of freeing up the women.
“If these demands are not fulfilled, they [ISIS jihadists] will slaughter us”, the women speaking in the video said.
Last Wednesday, ISIS attacked several villages in the eastern Swaida countryside, massacring more than 200 civilians and kidnapping over 20 women.
ISIS has almost lost all territories it controls in the Yarmouk Basin following a massive onslaught launched by the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces.
