Syrian and Russian fighter jets have jointly conducted a series of sorties in south and west of Aleppo, demolishing several staging points and command centers for the jihadi groups.

The airstrikes targeted Khan Touman and Khan al-Assal; two rebel-controlled towns and main gathering points for the jihadi groups fighting the Syrian Army in Ramouseh district.

Pro-rebel activists reported that dozens have been killed and injured in the attacks.

w*f khan touman and khan assal? NO … you should be razing artillery base, hikmah, 1070, mushrifah, jamiya and amarah to the GROUND!!!! Dont cheap out on the bombs used, I guess russian tsar bomba and FOAB were only to dicksize against the US, in practice only cheap ones are used because Russia is not a real superpower, while US uses amazing JDAM sorties in manbijj that atomizes everything in their way!!! Most russian airstrikes are one small bomb at a time, can’t even dent a building properly. Pitter pat ‘airstrikes’. *sigh* Artillery base should be mass KAB/KH29/ODAB/BETAB/FAB/OFAB/RBK/barrel bombed all… Read more »

While the US puts a kit on their ‘dumb bombs’ to make them a guidable munition, costing a lot of money for each bomb, the Russians compute cross-winds, altitude, speed and whatnot aboard the plane. The plane is essentially controlled by a computer and the computer also releases the bombs. Purely human targeting gets 1 in 500 bombs hitting the target. Russian in-plane computer gets 1 in 50 hitting the target with an increased cost of $5 per bomb. (Google: “SVP-24”) American guidance package gets virtually every bomb on target at increased cost of $25,000 per bomb. Russia does have… Read more »
