BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 P.M.) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hezbollah carried out a special operation that targeted the Islamic State’s (ISIL) headquarters near the Lebanese border.

The operation would prove successful, as the Islamic State’s leader, Abu Al-Sus, was forced to flee the area for safety.

Video footage of this operation was released by Hezbollah’s official media wing on Wednesday; it would show the moment their forces destroyed the terrorist group’s group’s headquarters.

The Syrian Arab Army and Hezbollah have carried out several operations like this in the Qalamoun Mountains recently, bullying their way through the Islamic State’s last positions in the region.
