BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured several sites along the Jordanian border, Sunday, following a large assault launched by their 5th Corps in the southeastern countryside of the Damascus Governorate.

The 5th Corps managed to capture garrisons 173, 174, 175, and 176 on Sunday, leaving them in control of a large portion of the Damascus-Jordan border.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army is now pushing towards the U.S. occupied Tanf Military base, which is still several kilometers away from the government’s positions.
