BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) further advanced in the southeastern countryside of Homs, Tuesday, following a series of clashes with the Islamic State (ISIL) terror organization.

Units from the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Legion, alongside Hezbollah and Liwaa Fatemiyoun, managed to capture several points in the southeastern countryside of Homs, pushing their way to the T-2 Pumping Station area.

Video footage captured by local journalists shows the Syrian Arab Army and their allies advancing east of the Al-Duliyat area, reaching the outskirts of Hamimah.

If the Syrian Army captures Hamimah in the coming days, they will be at the outskirts of the T-2 Pumping Station for the first time in years.
