ALEPPO, SYRiA (9:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard, backed by Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), imposed full control over the Kindi Hospital in northern Aleppo after a three-day long battle with the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab.
This military operation to capture the Kindi Hospital began on Tuesday, when the Syrian Armed Forces managed to break-through the jihadist front-lines and capture the Handarat Refugee Camps.
Following the capture of the Handarat Refugee Camp, the Syrian Armed Forces seized the Kindi Hospital, only to lose it some hours later when the jihadist rebels launched a fierce counter-attack.
On Saturday, the Syrian Armed Forces established full-control over the Barakah Quarries that overlook the Kindi Hospital; this paved the way for their eventual capture of this imperative site in northern Aleppo.
Video footage above shows the Syrian Arab Army seizing the Kindi Cancer Hospital after being under the control of the jihadist rebels for more than three years.
