BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:05 A.M.) – The Israeli military fired several missiles towards the western countryside of Damascus last night, targeting the area around the Iranian base in the town of Jamraya.

According to a military source in Damascus, a number of missiles did strike their intended targets, causing loud explosions that could be heard throughout Damascus last night.

While several missiles did in fact hit their intended targets, a few others were actually intercepted by the Syrian Air Defense above the western countryside of the Rif Dimashq Governorate.
