BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 A.M.) – The Syrian air defenses were activated last night when several Israeli missiles began targeting the military’s positions in the Dara’a Governorate town of Tal Al-Harrah.
In a short video released by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) last night, the Syrian air defenses can be seen attempting to intercept the Israeli missiles that were fired from the occupied Golan Heights region.
While many projectiles were shot down by the Syrian military, a number of the missiles did hit their targets around Tal Al-Harrah.
Tal Al-Harrah is a key hilltop town that overlooks much of the Al-Quneitra Governorate and western Dara’a.
The Syrian Army retook Tal Al-Harrah last Summer after losing the town to the Free Syrian Army’s Southern Front Brigades in 2014.
