BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – The Turkish-backed rebels have entered the strategic town of Rajou in the northwestern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate, video footage revealed earlier today.

Based on the video footage below, the Turkish-backed rebels from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are in full control of the town, following the subsequent withdrawal of all Kurdish-led forces from Rajou.

The town of Rajou is located 23km northwest of Afrin and was considered a stronghold for the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) before their withdrawal today.

While the YPG claims they have not lost any towns, the pro-opposition groups leading the assault on Afrin have released photos and videos from the areas they captured, corroborating reports from earlier today.
