BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has been engaged in a fierce battle for the strategic town of Kabani for several days now, as they look to seal off the Latakia Governorate’s eastern axis once and for all.

These pointless attacks on this town must stop. It’s simply killing Syrian soldiers for no reason. You do not attack the enemy line at the strongest point. Kobani is the strongest rebel position in the entire country. You cut it off from the rear. Attack the weakest part of the enemy line. Whoever is ordering these assaults is incompetent.

Not pointless. SAA advancing, holding ground, and terrorists are dying. They are atop a mountain so no rear. They are dug in and have fire control over Idlib. No other way to do it. It will be costly. I’d like to see Chinese send 10,000 to storm the mountain but that’s not going to happen.
