DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:00 A.M.) – The newly formed ‘ISIS Hunter’ battalion, part of the Russian-trained 5th Legion, released a short promotional video depicting its soldiers on the Palmyra frontier.
Although the Syrian army unit was formed in Latakia, the ISIS Hunters are tasked with safeguarding the oil and gas fields in eastern Homs and will be based in Palmyra, preventing ISIS forces from retaking the legendary city.
