BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:26 P.M.) – Injured civilians caught up in the intensifying battle between Iraqi forces, their allies, and the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Mosul received treatment at a hospital in Erbil on Thursday.

“Today the hospital is full of civilians” said humanitarian response manager Giacomo Menaldo.

He estimated 120 wounded were being brought to Erbil every day.
