DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:30 P.M.) – Several buses were filmed last night entering the ISIS-controlled districts in southern Damascus in order to put in place a surrender deal concluded earlier.

The Islamic State militants holed up in a small enclave accepted to surrender their last positions and leave to the country’s eastern desert.

While the deal was confirmed by many social media activists, the Syrian Army has not yet issued any official statement regarding this particular matter. Moreover, others spoke about ongoing clashes and fierce battles in the southern suburbs.

There is an official statement by the Syrian Arab Army that no deal has been reached and that heavy clashes are ongoing with the Syrian government and allied Palestinian forces advancing slowly but surely forward amid heavy resistance by the ISIS terrorists. It is possible that the ISIS family members have been evacuated, but not the terrorists themselves who pledged to fight till the end.
