An earlier Al-Masdar News report has said that hundreds of US troops have entered Syria. This number can now be confirmed to be around 400 US Marines have illegally arrived in northern Syria to participate in an offensive aimed at retaking Raqqa from the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL).

Dozens of US military vehicles were filmed near the US base in Manbij on Thursday.

According to the US coalition command center, the Marines will assist the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in their push to re-establish control over Raqqa.

This would make it the first time since the beginning of the Syrian conflict that this formation has been deployed in action.

It is starting to get comic. Now that the Caliph was spirited off and the vast majority of ISIS troop strength has been annihilated by the Russian AF and the struggles of the Syrians , Iraqis , Lebanese and Iranians , now that the game is brought to an end , with painful losses in lives and materiel , now American general Custer comes with the cavalry. To save what ?????

Personally, I consider that any good will to get rid of dangerous fanatics has to be welcomed, these cockroaches love death more than we love life, they even publicly stated they are seeking apocalypse, they’re a threat to whole humanity, I see no problem having anybody willing to terminate them teaming in, I’d even welcome North-Korea and Mongolia, BTW, having the Mongols acting would surely make the roaches s**t in their pants : Crusaders acted really p***y if compared to Hulagu-Khan and Genghis-Khan, especially Hulagu in the ME : the sack of Baghdad is legendary.

Custer wasn’t the guy arriving with cavalry when things were over, he was the squaw-slaughterer and was beaten by great chief Sitting Bull @ Little Big Horn.
Better compare to 1944 Operation Overlord when they beach-landed in Normandie when Soviets did 80% of the job alone 😉

Operation Bagration was AFAIK the biggest battle ever lost by Germany. Operation Overlord compared to that was a Kindergarden that opened yet another front. BTW. The GröFaZ interference with the generals work made it possible.

Every man helps.

p.s. No it is not totally illegal. But the US should have informed and coordinated with Syria. IS as a terrorist organization that committed genocide. Under the UN Genocide Convention all participating countries are advised to prevent and punish actions of genocide in war and in peacetime. Syria and the US signed the convention.

If just one of these imperialist running dogs dies in Syria the yanks will behave like drama queens and grant themselves the right to do whatever they want to in Syria. They need to f off back to where they came from.

Brother, the UNSC members can allow foreign military interference against the will of the government of a sovereign country.

Assad is ruler. Syria is a sovereign country. He is qualified to rule what is legal what is not in Syria.

p.s. But here we have perhaps a special case. IS has committed genocide. Syria and the US are in the Genocide Convention.
All members must take steps to prevent and punish genocide.
IMHO they should coordinate efforts.
