Three people were killed and six more badly hurt on Thursday after Islamist rebels fired two rockets upon residential neighborhoods in western Aleppo.
The rockets struck the now infamous 3000 Apartment Project and Tishreen neighborhood, two districts in which many residents have returned after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) fully recaptured the famous city in late December, 2016.
If one is to believe the state-run SANA agency, the SAA did not suffer any casualties due to the attack.
Despite Aleppo being restored under government control, Jaish al-Fateh factions in the rural areas west of the city are still able to reach Aleppo with surface-to-surface missiles.
These indiscriminate rocket attacks are usually retaliation for Syrian airstrikes conducted on the Jaish al-Fateh heartland.
