In what has become increasingly confusing, ten Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups in the Kurdish YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have renounced Turkey’s Euphrates Shield operation that is aiming to expell the SDF and ISIS from areas west of the Euphrates river along the Syria-Turkey border.
In the same video the FSA factions in the SDF denounced Turkey’s targeting of civilians in which at least 20 died in Jeb el-Kusa and at least another 15 in al-Amarnah by airstrikes and artillery fire.
Euphrates Shield is being conducted by Free Syrian Army groups, Turkey-backed Islamist proxies and Turkish military forces.
Effectively Free Syrian Army groups are at civil war with each other in the Jarablus area in northern Syria.
The Turkish-led forces have successfully expelled the NDF from all areas south of the Sarjur river.
