BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:10 P.M.) – A video has emerged of Venezuelan national guardsmen running over protesters near the La Carlota Airbase in Caracas city today.

According to Reuters, the vehicle struck the protesters after unknown individuals threw several rocks at the Venezuelan Nationals Guard troops that were deployed to the area.
There has been no official word on the total number of casualties; however, some reports have claimed as many as three people were badly wounded.
The Venezuelan government has yet to comment on the video.
On Tuesday morning, Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido called on the Venezuelan people to back the military defectors and overthrow the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
As of now, the military defectors control an interchange near the La Carlota Airbase.
