BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:45 P.M.) – The United States of America is currently at war with the Russian Federation according to veteran actor Morgan Freeman. The Hollywood star officially expressed this view in a recent presidential-like address to the American public on behalf of the Committee to Investigate Russia.
In his address, Freeman likened the entire reality of US-Russia bilateral relations to a Hollywood script.
According to Freeman, that a disgruntled former KGB agent (Vladimir Putin) who hates the United States would play on equally disillusioned Russian masses as a means to establish an “authoritarian regime” and then use this power to destroy his “sworn enemy” (the US) makes complete sense as a blockbuster script and thus must be the case in reality too.
The Hollywood actor called on President Donald Trump to admit that the US “came under attack by the Russian government” during the 2017 presidential election and to launch a thorough investigation into how it happened.
Freeman’s speech does not come as a surprise as almost the entire American liberal political world is still in a state of knee-jerk reaction to Trump’s presidential victory. Slandering the Russian leadership via accusing it of election hacking has proven to be part of this ongoing reaction.
Morgan Freeman has played in many roles throughout his acting career, including as an army commander, a detective and as an American president. This has granted him profound understanding of how international relations work as well as the required intellectual credibility to talk before tens of millions of people and officially accuse one nation’s leadership of interfering in the political process of another nation.
